Is the Pavilion wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Our parking lot includes a designed ADA van accessible parking space, and ramps allow access onto our boardwalk and Pavilion. However if you choose to book a visit with the animals, our tours take place on gravel roads, grass pasture, and other terrains, all of which may not be completely wheelchair friendly. What are the policies around payments and cancellations?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date. The remaining 50% is due 60 days before your event. All payments are final. If you decide to move your date, you may do so based on availability for no extra charge.

Are companion animals allowed on site?

Unfortunately for the safety of our animal residents, companion animals of any kind are not permitted on the grounds. We also do not allow companion animals to be left in vehicles. 

Can I use a vendor not listed on the approved list?

All of our approved vendors offer 100% vegan food options only. If you have another vegan food caterer in mind, please contact us to discuss this.

What are the closest accommodations?

There are several hotels located in Chapel Hill, just 25 minutes away. There are also two bed and breakfast options located in downtown Pittsboro.
